Whether helping clients resolve disputes mid-project or guiding them through contract negotiations long before breaking ground, Hannah Batsche is focused on protecting her clients’ interests at every stage of the construction process.
As a member of Gould & Ratner’s Construction and Litigation Practices, she advises owners, developers, contractors, and subcontractors on how to mitigate risk and navigate complex claims. Her work supports the progress of projects across public and private sectors, as well as in both commercial and residential markets.
Hannah’s litigation practice spans a wide range of commercial matters, including breach of contract disputes, commercial landlord-tenant actions, and construction-related claims, including those related to payment, delays and defective work. She also counsels clients on labor and employment issues that can intersect with broader litigation or construction-related concerns, bringing a well-rounded perspective to risk management and resolution strategies.
Before joining Gould & Ratner as an associate, Hannah clerked at the firm for over two years, gaining hands-on experience with high-stakes litigation and client advocacy. She is actively involved in the Chicago Bar Association and serves on the DEI Committee for Professional Women in Construction.
