Drawing on his extensive experience representing real estate developers in acquisitions, financings, and construction matters nationwide, clients rely on Jeff for seasoned advice, strong negotiation skills, and the precise execution of deals–ranging from high-stakes financings on both the lender and borrower sides to complex development transactions.

With a primary focus representing companies ranging from banks to healthcare entities, Jeff’s practice concentrates on advising clients throughout every stage of a purchase or sale, from drafting and negotiating the contract, to assisting with lease and asset purchase agreements and reviewing construction and commercial finance loan documents. He handles matters relating to all aspects of real estate law, including acquisitions and dispositions, office and retail leasing, financial services, commercial real estate transactions, commercial and construction loans and other business matters.

In addition to his general real estate practice, Jeff guides his clients in drafting partnership, operating, stock purchase/redemption agreements and service and vendor contracts. He also advises on corporate governance issues.

Jeff has delivered favorable outcomes for clients including:

• Represented family office in sale of four restaurant locations to tenant pursuant to a right of first refusal.
• Represented borrower over a half a dozen construction loans, totaling $470 million borrowed.
• Represented purchaser/borrower in deed in lieu of foreclosure matter for a first class Chicago office building.
• Represented electronic manufacturing company in the sale and leaseback of Illinois headquarters.
• Represented mid-sized lender in several commercial mortgage and construction loan transactions.
• Represented the purchaser/borrower of manufacturing and industrial plant.
