Gould & Ratner is pleased to announce that Jeffrey M. Goldberg has joined the firm as an associate in the Real Estate Practice.
Goldberg handles matters relating to all aspects of real estate law, including commercial real estate transactions, commercial and construction loans and other business matters. He advises clients throughout every stage of a purchase or sale, from drafting and negotiating the contract, to assisting with lease and asset purchase agreements and reviewing construction and commercial finance loan documents.
In addition to his general real estate practice, Goldberg guides his clients in drafting partnership, operating, stock purchase/redemption agreements and service and vendor contracts. He also advises on corporate governance issues.

Prior to joining Gould & Ratner, Goldberg was an associate at Hinshaw & Culbertson. He also previously worked for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
Goldberg earned his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law at Illinois Institute of Technology and his bachelor's degree from University of Connecticut.
