DENVER – Gould & Ratner is pleased to announce that Todd G. Johnson has joined the firm as an associate attorney in our Corporate Practice. He will be based in the firm’s recently opened Denver office.
Johnson counsels clients in a broad array of business matters, including choice of entity, entity formation, corporate governance, fiduciary duties, stock option plans, private placements, financing, strategic investments, business optimization, debt or equity offerings, and general commercial and contract matters. He negotiates, drafts, and reviews all types of corporate agreements, including employment agreements, non-compete agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
Johnson represents private companies, business owners, private equity clients, and individuals on both buy-side and sell-side transactions. His transactional experience spans multiple industries, including healthcare, recruitment, marketing, advertising, telecommunications and manufacturing.

Johnson served in the U.S. Army prior to becoming an attorney. After completing his military service, he worked as a corporate executive, board director and shareholder of several companies. He is well-versed in financial planning, strategic business plans, marketing, sales plans and investments throughout the financing lifecycle.
Johnson earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, his M.B.A. from Webster University and his bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
