Real Estate Practice Welcomes Jaylan Williams

Gould & Ratner LLP is pleased to announce that Jaylan D. Williams has joined the firm as an associate attorney in our Real Estate Practice.

Williams handles matters relating to virtually all aspects of real estate law, including commercial real estate transactions, financing, leasing, zoning, land use and entitlement issues.

Cohen, chair of Gould & Ratner’s Real Estate Practice. “His excellent credentials, including an MBA from the University of Illinois, make him a terrific addition to our practice, where we pride ourselves on knowing the business side of real estate, not just the law.”

Williams earned his J.D. from University of Illinois College of Law and received a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

While attending law school, Williams was the Vice President of the Black Law Student Association and the Rickert Award Recipient in Excellence in Service, which are the most prestigious awards conferred upon students at the University of Illinois College of Law and recognize excellence in student achievement.
