Litigation Practice Welcomes Alec Cerqueira

Gould & Ratner LLP is pleased to announce that Alec Cerqueira has joined the firm as an associate in our Litigation Practice, with a primary focus on serving clients in our Human Resources and Employment Law Practice. 

Cerqueira has experience handling a wide array of employment law matters pending in Illinois and Wisconsin state courts, as well as various administrative proceedings in front of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Cerqueira earned his J.D. from Marquette University Law School. During law school, he spent time at the NLRB in Milwaukee. Cerqueira also spent time at a nonprofit legal service clinic in Boston, assisting clients on employment matters. He is fluent in Portuguese.
