Gould & Ratner Sponsored the AICC Business Leadership Award Celebration

Gould & Ratner was a proud sponsor of the America-Israel Chamber of Commerce (AICC) Business Leadership Award Celebration on May 2. Its mission is to develop business ties between Chicago and Israel. AICC is the only non profit non governmental organization with this exclusive goal. 

Fred Tannenbaum, a partner at GR, is the new Co-President along with Sally Fernandez, CEO and Founder of Safety Dynamics.

Fred and Sally, with the help of many others, organized the annual ball which was held yesterday. It was a rounding success, with a record number of attendees and fundraising for this important mission. Perhaps the draw was the honoree, Andy Poticha, CEO and Founder of Mosaic Construction. Perhaps it was Wendy Berger, real estate entrepreneur, co-founder of Illinois Women in Cannabis, and a board member of Green Thumb Industries, a publicly traded multi state operator. Or it could have been hearing three Muslims who flew in from the UAE to discuss efforts to normalize relations and commerce between Israel and its UAE neighbors.
