Jean Kenol is a trusted advisor with a diverse background in handling both residential and commercial transactions.

As a Partner in the Gould & Ratner Real Estate Practice, Jean has a track record for succeeding with matters related to real estate law, corporate and business law, zoning and land use, and local government law, ranging from complex single-family residential closings to multimillion-dollar commercial transactions.

Jean represents high-net-worth individuals in the purchase of luxury residential real estate. For example, he supports the Crown Family Office, which entails representing and coordinating the Crown family’s residential real estate transactions throughout the country. 

He also provides pro bono counsel to Habitat for Humanity Chicago, representing the organization in real estate-related matters.

Jean has also been deeply involved in the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), having served on the ISBA Board of Governors. Additionally, he has held leadership roles with the Notre Dame Club of Joliet, the United Cerebral Palsy of Will County, and the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Silver Cross Hospital.
