An insightful and strategic thinker, Emmanuel takes care to understand each client’s problem with attention to detail and a proactive approach.

Representing clients in a wide scope of real estate transactions, Emmanuel focuses his practice on the acquisition, disposition, development, financing, and leasing of various types of commercial real estate ranging from office, retail, multifamily, and mixed use. He works hand in hand with landlord, tenants, lenders, borrowers, and investors.

Emmanuel has delivered favorable outcomes for clients including:

  • Representation of an institutional lender in loan transactions secured by various types of real estate collateral including, hotels, apartment complexes, and industrial buildings.
  • Representation of a landlord in various leasing matters for a shopping center in Chicago, Illinois.
  • Representing of a landlord in various leasing matters for an office building in Chicago, Illinois.
  • Representation of a company on various real estate matters as the company expanded locations in the United States.

Prior to joining Gould & Ratner, Emmanuel was an associate at a large global firm. While in law school, Emmanuel was awarded the Weldon B. White Prize.
