Knowing that a law firm’s success depends on its people, Casey Luther brings insight, energy and advocacy to her role as director of human resources and operations at Gould & Ratner. She is passionate about supporting employees, creating an inclusive workplace, and ensuring that attorneys and staff have the guidance and resources they need to thrive. 

Drawing on a career spent wearing many hats across support and management roles, Casey brings a rare perspective to her position. She not only manages the firm’s HR and operations, she also deeply understands the day-to-day realities of the individuals she supports.

Casey oversees all facets of the firm’s human resources function, including employee relations, compliance, performance management and employee engagement, while also managing operations and vendor partnerships. Her approach is grounded in both empathy and efficiency—ensuring that the firm runs smoothly while cultivating an environment where attorneys and staff feel empowered to grow.

Beyond Gould & Ratner, Casey extends her leadership to the broader legal community, where she plays an active role in the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) Chicago chapter.

Casey earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from John Carroll University and holds SHRM-CP certification through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
