• Successfully defended bank against UCC and conversion claims by asserting warranty claim against bank of first deposit, resulting in a dismissal with prejudice of all claims against client.
• Obtained TRO and negotiated favorable resolution relating to improperly assessed tax penalties on behalf of several commercial building owners in litigation against Illinois Department of Revenue.
• Successfully represented LLC manager and outside party against a ten-count direct and derivative complaint filed by a member of the LLC relating to breaches of fiduciary duties and duty to act fairly and in good faith by obtaining dismissal of all but one count brought against clients and negotiating a favorable settlement on sole remaining count.

• Successfully represented manager of various LLCs in litigation against LLCs for breach of asset management agreements, breaches of fiduciary duties, and fraud by obtaining advancement of client’s attorneys’ fees from the LLCs and negotiating a favorable settlement on behalf of the client.
